ALT + CTRL + THINK

Ctrl + Alt + Think is an exciting, hands-on maths incursion that transforms students into codebreakers on a mission to stop a mystery hacker. When the school’s computer system is compromised, students must rely on their mathematical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills to crack codes, solve riddles, and recover the hacker’s laptop password before it’s too late.

Throughout the workshop, students tackle a series of increasingly challenging missions that require them to identify patterns, decode secret messages and riddles, and apply efficient mathematical strategies. As each clue is unlocked, students must think critically, justify their reasoning, adapt their approach, and collaborate with their team to progress through the investigation. Every challenge encourages persistence, flexible thinking, and strategic decision making as they work to uncover the next number to the secret code.

By the end of the incursion, students will have strengthened their reasoning, problem solving, and logical thinking skills while experiencing maths as an engaging, fast paced adventure where every clue solved brings them one step closer to catching the hacker.
