PUZZLES & PARADOXES
“Wait… That Can’t Be Right!” - Paradoxes and Puzzles
“Wait… That Can’t Be Right!” is a hands-on maths workshop designed to spark curiosity, confidence, and deep thinking in Year 1 to Year 4 students. Through fun, visual puzzles and famous maths paradoxes, children explore situations where things look confusing or impossible at first — and learn how to investigate, check, and explain their thinking.
After exploring these paradoxes, students apply their understanding of manipulating and rearranging shapes to solve a range of geometric puzzles. The workshop encourages children to think flexibly, justify their ideas, and develop a strong problem-solving mindset in a supportive and engaging environment.
This workshop builds foundational geometry skills while nurturing perseverance, curiosity, and confidence, all key elements of the Limitless Maths approach.
