1:1 Tutoring - Subject to availability
Program Structure:
Each 1:1 tutoring session begins with a check-in to review prior learning and establish a clear learning intention based on the individual student’s goals. A mindset and/or warm-up task is used to engage the student and intentionally develop key learning dispositions such as persistence, risk-taking and learning from mistakes. Targeted fluency practice then focuses on strengthening number facts or specific skills aligned directly to the student’s needs.
The session moves into explicit teaching, where key concepts are modelled using visual aids, manipulatives and worked examples tailored to the student’s learning style. Students then engage in a rich task designed to deepen understanding, build problem-solving skills and make connections across mathematical ideas. While this structure provides consistency, each session is carefully tailored to support the student in achieving their specific goals, with the tutor making ongoing adjustments to ensure appropriate challenge, support and engagement throughout the lesson.
Weekly Progress Reports & End-of-Term Report:
You will receive an outline of the lesson along with a progress report each week, highlighting observations and your child’s achievements and areas for further development. Additionally, at the end of each term, we will provide a detailed report outlining their progress towards specific maths goals.
Access to Google Classroom: All students will continue to have access to the Limitless Maths Google Classroom to access links to online games and tasks that support the learning in the tutoring sessions.
