This versatile game has been designed to support students to develop fluency with their multiplication facts, with a focus on the application of efficient strategies and building understanding (rather than speed and rote learning). This game is ideal for students that have a concrete understanding of multiplication (e.g. repeated addition, arrays, factors, multiples) and need to practise and develop fluency with applying efficient strategies and recalling multiplication facts. Included in this resource pack is a copy of detailed instructions/rules, 2 x student game boards (along with an example game board) and a recording sheet. This resource includes Victorian Curriculum links for Years 3-6.

To play this game, students will need:

• Pen/Pencil (or whiteboard marker if played in plastic whiteboard sleeve)

• 12-sided dice

• Counters (2 different colours)
